The Greek Festival of Sydney, organized by the Greek Orthodox Community of New South Wales, kicked off in Darling Harbour. This annual festival, now in its 42nd year, runs from February to June and showcases various aspects of Greek culture.

Greek music took center stage at the Antipodes festival in Melbourne, with popular Greek singer Melina Aslanidou performing in a concert that attracted over 35,000 attendees. Aslanidou also gave a concert at the Greek Festival of Sydney the following day.

In addition to the musical performances, dance groups entertained the crowds throughout the weekend. A total of 600 talented performers showcased their skills across the festival's three stages.
