A restaurant festival is set to take over the city centre of Edinburgh next month, with 40 venues offering incredible deals and special offers. The full list of participating restaurants and bars for this year's Eat Out Edinburgh campaign has been released, featuring popular establishments such as the newly opened Rio Brazilian Steakhouse, Ka Pao at the St James Quarter, and the Voodoo Rooms.
Each venue will bring its own unique value and something to appeal to everyone. For example, Duck & Waffle will be offering a special Mother's Day brunch, while the Hard Rock Café will be hosting a cocktail masterclass. The aim of the festival is to encourage diners to explore different cuisines and try new restaurants at an accessible price, all while supporting the vibrant hospitality sector in the city.
Organized by Essential Edinburgh, the campaign will take place throughout the capital's Business Improvement District (BID). It is returning this year after a successful two-week run in 2023. Emily Campbell Johnston, senior manager of Marketing & Communications at Essential Edinburgh, expressed excitement about the campaign, stating that the participating venues have gone above and beyond to create exciting offers for guests. She believes that the campaign will allow locals, visitors, and workers in the city center to experience some of the best cuisine Edinburgh has to offer.
