March kicks off with the Newcastle Show at the Newcastle Showground, running until Sunday 3rd. This is a great event for the whole family to enjoy. Also, don't miss the Lina Buck: It isn't Always, Always exhibition at the Multi-Arts Pavilion, mima, which runs until Sunday 5th May.
If you're a foodie, head to the Friday Night Foodies event at the Multi-Arts Pavilion (MAP mima) in Speers Point, from 5pm to 8pm. For a more relaxed evening, check out Friday Chill at Pacific Park in Newcastle, starting at 6:30pm.

For those interested in celebrating International Women's Day, there are several events happening throughout the month. On Friday 1st, there is the 2024 International Women's Day Luncheon with Jelena Dokic at Merewether Surhouse at 12:30pm. On Tuesday 5th, the Newcastle Business Club is hosting their March Luncheon at the Newcastle Permanent Centre of Excellence in Broadmeadow at 12pm. And on Wednesday 6th, the HBWN 2024 International Women's Day event will take place at the Newcastle Exhibition and Convention Centre (NEX) from 5:30pm.
Sports, Music, and More: Exciting Events in March
If you're a sports fan, check out the Women in Sport Festival happening in Lake Macquarie from Saturday 2nd until Sunday 10th. And don't miss the Surfest at South Bar Beach in Newcastle, running until Sunday 3rd.
For music lovers, there are several concerts and performances happening in March. On Saturday 2nd, there is the Women in Sport Inspirational Breakfast with Liz Ellis at Club Macquarie in Argenton at 7:15am. And on Saturday 9th, Kate Ceberano will be performing at Belmont 16s from 8:30pm.

As we move into April, don't miss the Newcastle Food Month, taking place at multiple venues across Newcastle throughout the month. And for theater enthusiasts, the LIMBO - The Return Spiegeltent Newcastle show will be running from Wednesday 3rd April until Sunday 5th May at Civic Park in Newcastle.
