Meet Chef Natalie Willingham: A Culinary Journey Rooted in Black Culture

Chef Natalie Willingham's journey with Disney began almost 24 years ago when she started as a line cook. She has since climbed the culinary ladder, recently taking on the role of Chef de Cuisine for Environmental Food Sustainability.

Reflecting on her culture, Chef Natalie says, "As a Black Christian woman, born and raised in Southern California, my culture is diverse, colorful, welcoming, and filled with rhythm, creativity, strength, and beauty." She emphasizes that Soul food and African cuisine deserve to be seen, respected, and appreciated for the beauty and stories of their ancestors.

Meet Chef Michaela Gilchrist: Adding Magic to Culinary Creations

Chef Michaela Gilchrist joined the Disney family in 1985 and quickly transitioned into a leadership role. Over the years, she has held various positions before becoming a chef in 2010. Currently, she works her magic at the Plaza Inn in Disneyland Park, where her culinary expertise and passion shine through in every dish she creates.
