Delicious Food and Beautiful Topiaries: A Guide to Epcot's International Flower & Garden Festival

Last week, we had the pleasure of attending the opening day of Epcot's International Flower & Garden Festival. It was a delightful experience as we spent the entire day exploring the festival and enjoying all that it had to offer. Our main focus was on the beautiful topiaries and the delicious festival food.

Upon entering Epcot, we made sure to grab a festival passport. This handy guide helped us navigate the various food booths and decide which ones were worth waiting in line for. Each country had its own special booth with a unique menu, and the passport allowed us to preview the offerings and mark our favorites. We highly recommend using the passport to ensure you don't miss out on any must-try dishes.

While the lines at the festival booths can get long, we found that they moved quite quickly. So don't let a longer line discourage you from trying something you really want. In fact, we have a few recommendations of our own:

• Chicken & Waffles from The Honey Bee-stro: This dish was a perfect combination of savory and sweet. The crispy chicken paired with fluffy waffles and a drizzle of honey was simply delightful.
• Beef Tenderloin Tips from Northern Bloom, Canada: The tender beef cooked to perfection, accompanied by flavorful mushrooms and a rich sauce, made this dish a true standout.
• Honey-Peach Cobbler Freeze from The Honey Bee-stro: This frozen treat was a refreshing and delicious way to beat the Florida heat. The combination of honey and peach flavors was a match made in dessert heaven.
• Peach Bellini from BrunchCot: This fruity and refreshing cocktail was the perfect accompaniment to our festival experience. It's a must-try for anyone looking for a tasty adult beverage.
• Honey Mascarpone Cheesecake from Swirled Showcase: This creamy and decadent dessert was a true indulgence. The honey and mascarpone flavors melded together beautifully, creating a dessert that was impossible to resist.
• Caramelisa Beignet from Fleur de Lys, France: These fluffy and sweet beignets were a delightful French treat. The caramel drizzle added an extra touch of sweetness that we couldn't get enough of.
• Cheesy Crab Wontons from Lotus House, China: These crispy wontons filled with creamy and flavorful crab were a definite crowd-pleaser. They were the perfect combination of textures and flavors.

However, we do have one recommendation for you to skip: the Quattro Formaggi from Italy. While we usually love Italian cuisine, this dish didn't live up to our expectations. It lacked the depth of flavor and richness that we were hoping for.

In addition to the delicious food, the festival also showcased an abundance of topiaries. We made sure to capture photos of our favorites, especially the new additions. The park had relocated some of the beloved topiaries, so it was exciting to discover them in new locations.
