This year, the festival beverage manager, Matt Woods, made a deliberate effort to highlight Anaheim breweries, putting the spotlight on the city's exceptional offerings and supporting local businesses. By featuring Orange County breweries, both locals and out-of-town visitors can discover new and favorite beers from the region.

According to Woods, there is a growing interest among guests to try local beers, especially those traveling from out of state. The festival serves as a platform for small, local breweries to reach a wider audience and introduce people to breweries they may not have been aware of before.

Representing Orange County, other notable breweries include Chapman Crafted, Delahunt, Left Coast, and Stereo. San Diego County is also well-represented with breweries like Mission, Mother Earth, and Stone. Los Angeles breweries such as Crowns & Hops, La Bodega, and Eagle Rock bring their unique flavors to the festival. And from further north, Full Circle, Russian River, and Sierra Nevada showcase their exceptional brews.

The inclusion of these local breweries is a testament to Disney's commitment to supporting small, family-owned businesses. Lindsay Langton, Creative Director of Bottle Logic, expressed her appreciation for Disney's efforts in showcasing the talents of the local community. Mike Crea, Founder of Unsung Brewing, emphasized the importance of storytelling in both Disneyland and beer making.

Unleashing Creativity: Unique Brews and Experiences

For Trevor Walls, Chief Brewing Officer at Brewery X, having his Baja Boi Mexican Lager served at the Disney food festival is an absolute honor. Never did he imagine that his beer would be poured at Disneyland. The Brewery X Baja Boi is not only available on its own but also as part of a Frozen Mangonada Beer Slush and a chile-lime Michelada at the California Craft Brews booth.

The Disney Food & Wine Festival offers visitors the chance to explore a wide range of beers and discover new favorites. The support for small, local breweries from Disney is commendable and contributes to the vibrant craft beer scene in California. Whether you're a beer enthusiast or simply looking to try something new, this festival is a must-visit for anyone who appreciates the art of brewing.
