The highly anticipated Fizz Fest, a sparkling wine festival organized by Vineyards of Hampshire, is making a comeback for its 10th year. This exciting event will take place at The Grange Vineyard and Winery in Itchen Stoke near Alresford, showcasing the finest still and sparkling wines that Hampshire has to offer. Wine enthusiasts and connoisseurs will have the opportunity to sample over 20 different wines, with the added bonus of winemakers and vineyard owners being present to personally showcase their selections.
In addition to the extensive wine tastings, Fizz Fest will also feature a range of activities and entertainment throughout the day. Guests can partake in masterclasses to enhance their wine knowledge, take guided tours of the vineyards and winery, indulge in delicious street food, and enjoy live music performances. What makes this year's Fizz Fest even more special is its coinciding with English Wine Week, which runs from June 15 to 23. This alignment allows wine enthusiasts to celebrate and appreciate the best of English wines while enjoying the festival's offerings.
The Grange Vineyard and Winery, where Fizz Fest will be held, is home to the award-winning range of The Grange wines. The winery is situated next to Burges Field Vineyard, boasting an impressive 52,000 vines. The state-of-the-art winery was opened in 2022, with its modern design blending seamlessly into the picturesque hills of Hampshire. The tasting tent at Fizz Fest will feature wines and new vintages from all eight members of Vineyards of Hampshire: Black Chalk, Danebury Vineyards, Exton Park, The Grange, Hambledon, Hattingley, Louis Pommery England, and Raimes.
