Guy Fieri's Flavortown Festival, which was set to take place in Columbus, Ohio on June 1 and 2, has unfortunately been canceled for 2024. The festival, known for its unique combination of music and food, had initially announced rock band Greta Van Fleet and country superstar Kane Brown as headliners. Fieri, a native of Columbus, expressed his excitement for the event, stating, 'Flavortown Fest is comin' to Columbus, and I couldn't be more stoked to finally announce that we're bringing the heat to the Flavortown stage with my buddies Kane Brown, Greta Van Fleet, Bret Michaels, LOCASH, Niko Moon and even more to come.'
However, due to unforeseen circumstances, the festival has been canceled. A spokesperson for the event stated, 'Due to unforeseen circumstances, Guy Fieri's Flavortown Fest, initially planned for June 1-2 in Columbus, OH, has been canceled. Thank you to all our Flavortown Fest fans for understanding and your support along this journey.' Organizers are issuing full refunds to all ticket holders.
Despite the cancellation, Fieri had planned to launch Flavortown Cares, an impact program aimed at supporting the Columbus community. A portion of the proceeds from ticket sales were intended to be donated to the National Veterans Memorial and Museum, Ronald McDonald House Charities of Ohio, and the Mid-Ohio Food Collective. Although the festival will not take place, a $10,000 donation is still expected to be made to these charity partners.
Greta Van Fleet and Bret Michaels Continue with Other Tour Dates
While fans may be disappointed by the cancellation of the Flavortown Festival, there is still a chance to see Greta Van Fleet and Bret Michaels perform live. Both artists have other tour dates scheduled for 2024.
Greta Van Fleet will kick off a South American tour later this month, starting in Mexico City. They will then embark on a North American run starting on April 27 in St. Louis, with Geese as their supporting act. Tickets for Greta Van Fleet's shows are currently available.
Bret Michaels, on the other hand, will be bringing back his 'Parti-Gras' tour for another year. He will be playing a solo show tonight at the Thunder Valley Casino & Resort in Lincoln, California, with the next Parti-Gras date scheduled for March 7 in Mayetta, Kansas. Michaels will have a mix of solo shows and Parti-Gras 2.0 dates throughout the year, with the last show taking place on September 1. Tickets for Bret Michaels' shows are currently on sale.
