The Sheffield Food Festival is set to return to the city centre once again over the spring bank holiday weekend from May 25-27. This highly anticipated event will showcase a wide variety of cuisines and quality produce, solidifying Sheffield's reputation as a paradise for food lovers.

Organized by Swans Events, the Sheffield Food Festival has received public funding from Arts Council England to develop its music program. This will create new opportunities for local and emerging artists to showcase their talent and engage with the community. Additionally, the festival aims to involve local schools and students by offering them volunteering opportunities behind the scenes.

The festival will take place from 10am to 7pm on the weekend and 10am to 6pm on Bank Holiday Monday. Visitors can explore different areas of the city centre, including the Peace Gardens, Winter Garden, Millennium Square, Town Hall Square, and Pinstone Street, to discover a wide range of food and drink vendors.

Some of the vendors that have already been announced include Yee Kwan ice cream, Caribbean Fusion, Frazers Coffee, Chefstef, Tamarind Kitchen, Paradiso Authentic Italian, V or V Grill House, Flippin 'eck! Pancake Bar, Doughboy, Scrumptious by Lucy, Moss Valley Fine Meats, Malton Brewery Yorkshire Pudding Beer, Lucelas Chocolate Rum, and Locksley Distilling.

For those interested in participating as a trader, applications are still open. However, pitches are filling up quickly, so it is advised to apply as soon as possible. The Sheffield Food Festival provides a platform for local traders and independent businesses to showcase their products and contribute to the vibrant food scene in the city.
