The festival, developed in partnership with Scrumptious Food Festivals, will take place outside the shopping centre's village area. It promises to bring some of the biggest names in the culinary world to Kent, with a lineup of beloved household names already announced.

Celebrity chefs including Rosemary Shrager, Suzy Pelta, Laura Adlington, Saku Chandrasekara, Chetna Makan, Chigs Parmar, and Jurgen Krauss will grace the festival's "Big Cookery Stage." Guests will have the opportunity to watch thrilling demonstrations by these pros and even get their cookbooks signed.

In addition to the celebrity chefs, a variety of food vendors will be present at the festival. Kent's very own Whitstable Oyster Trading Company will showcase their delicious oysters, while Baba Dhaba will offer Pakistani street food specialties. The festival will also feature a marquee curated by the Humble Country team, showcasing products from boutique independent businesses. Visitors can expect to find unique gifts, homeware, accessories, and more.

James Waugh, the centre director at Bluewater, expressed his excitement for the debut food festival, stating that they have already seen significant interest since the announcement. He believes that the talented chefs and bakers lined up for the event will appeal to a wide audience. Bluewater aims to provide visitors with a range of experiences, from unique leisure concepts to great food and drink. With Scrumptious Food Festivals as experienced operators, they are confident that the festival will be a fantastic culinary event.

While the street food market is already at capacity, applications are still open for artisan vendors and small businesses interested in exhibiting their products in the Humble Country shopping marquee.

The Scrumptious Bluewater Food Festival promises to be a mouth-watering weekend for foodies in Kent. With a stellar lineup of celebrity chefs, a diverse range of food vendors, and a curated selection of artisan stalls, this event is not to be missed. Make sure to mark your calendars and indulge in a gastronomic adventure at Bluewater Shopping Centre this May.
