This antique carousel, one of only 170 remaining in the United States, features horse chariots carved from fine-grained hardwood. The chariots are beautifully painted by German, Italian, and Russian immigrant artisans, symbolizing the blending of cultures that is celebrated at the Mosaic Festival.
