Celebrity chefs are set to take the stage at FoodFest, a family festival returning to Overton this year. The event will be held as part of CarFest, which will run from August 23 to 25 at Laverstoke Park Farm. Attendees can look forward to cooking demonstrations, talks with Michelin-starred chefs, and more.

Headlining the event is The Chef's Stage, prepared and served by Cuisinart, and hosted by baker Briony May Williams. Renowned Michelin-starred chef Angela Hartnett, known for her Italian-inspired cuisine, will make an appearance, along with celebrated cake artist Molly Robbins.

Cyrus and Pervin Todiwala and Atul Kochhar will bring authentic Indian flavors to the festival. MasterChef legends Keziah Whittaker, the first-ever winner of Young MasterChef, and Tom Hamblet, winner of MasterChef: The Professionals 2023, will also be present to discuss their careers.

Classically-trained chef Lauren Willmot will share her tips on breaking culinary conventions, while gluten-free expert Becky Excell will showcase how to make delicious gluten-free dishes. Italian cuisine expert Theo Randall and innovative chef Michael Caines will also grace the stage.

In addition to The Chef's Stage, Cuisinart will collectively present the Food Experiences at CarFest this year. The Kitchen Table, hosted by Great British Bake Off winner Candice Brown, offers guests the chance to get up close with their food heroes. The Cook's Companion, hosted by food writer Ellen Manning, features masterclasses offering guests culinary tips and tricks.

For barbecue enthusiasts, Napoleon Grills will present The Big BBQ Cookout, hosted by grill masters Sam Evans and Shauna Guinn. This experience will give guests the opportunity to cook barbecue dishes for the whole family to enjoy.

For those looking for a refreshing drink, there are two Tipple Tents to choose from. Guests can visit the Spirits & Cocktails Tipple Tent hosted by Ocean Spray to learn more about mixology and discover the rising popularity of artisanal gin and vodka offerings. Alternatively, they can head to the Beer & Wine Tipple Tent to meet beer experts and wine sommeliers.

To end the day on a relaxing note, guests can visit The BarFest Arms, hosted by Timothy Taylor, one of the UK's oldest breweries. This pub provides a tranquil refuge where attendees can enjoy Taylor's range of award-winning hand-pulled cask ales, including their flagship Landlord. Guests can also sample their crisp and refreshing pale ale, Hopical Storm, which is perfect for a hot summer's day.
