The Street Fest is the highlight of the festival and the only event that is free and open to the public. The area between John and Mary streets will be closed off, allowing easy access for everyone to enjoy the festivities. It will have a lively street market atmosphere, bringing together a diverse group of chefs, artisans, and small businesses who are eager to give back to the community.

Food trucks and local vendors will line the streets, offering a wide array of delicious treats and unique products. As you stroll along, you'll be accompanied by the sounds of a live DJ and the energetic performance of the Burke High School marching band. Brick-and-mortar businesses and restaurants will also be open, extending their offerings onto the sidewalks. And for those aged 21 and older, a dedicated beer and wine garden on Ann Street will provide a delightful selection of beverages.

Introducing the Black Wine and Spirits Tasting Garden

This year, Charleston Wine + Food is introducing an exciting new addition to the festival: the Black Wine and Spirits Tasting Garden. Presented by Black Expo of Charleston, this ticketed experience will showcase 12 Black-owned wine and spirit brands, allowing guests to sample their products and learn more about the brands and how to support them.

For just $25, guests can embark on a journey through the garden, immersing themselves in the world of Black-owned wine and spirits. The McBride Sisters, renowned winemakers, and other industry leaders will be present, along with partnerships with companies like Breakthru Beverage. It's a unique opportunity for attendees to experience something different and support economic empowerment in the local food and industry community.

To enter the Black Wine and Spirits Tasting Garden, guests will check in at a counter on Ann Street and receive a special wristband. Tickets can be purchased online through Eventpasshero, and last-minute attendees can also buy tickets on-site. The collaboration between Charleston Wine + Food and Black Expo aims to promote diversity and inclusion while giving back to the community.

Exciting Experiences and Opportunities Await

Charleston Wine + Food officials are thrilled to bring back the street festival after the positive response from the community last year. This year, they are offering even more opportunities and experiences for attendees to enjoy. So, come with good energy and an appetite for exploration, and let Charleston Wine + Food take care of the rest!
