The Porthleven Food Festival is back this year with an incredible line-up of culinary talent. From April 26 to 28, food enthusiasts can enjoy a three-day celebration of delicious food and drink in Porthleven, Cornwall.

One of the highlights of the festival is the Chef's Theatre, which will feature some of the most renowned chefs in the industry. This year, attendees can look forward to seeing Michelin-starred chefs and Great British Menu winners showcase their skills.

Among the impressive line-up is Adam Handling of Adam Handling Restaurant Group, known for his innovative and creative approach to cooking. Tom Brown, from Cornerstone Restaurant and The Pearly Queen, will also be making an appearance, bringing his expertise in seafood to the stage.

Paul Foster, the talented chef behind Salt Restaurant, will be showcasing his passion for seasonal and sustainable ingredients. And Ben Palmer, winner of the Great British Menu 2024, will be representing The Sardine Factory restaurant in Looe.

In addition to these esteemed chefs, the festival is excited to welcome Jack Stein, son of renowned chef Rick Stein, as one of the new additions to the bill. Jack is a talented chef in his own right and will undoubtedly impress the audience with his culinary skills.

Other notable chefs participating in the festival include Chris Eden, executive chef at Gidleigh Park, and Josh Eggleton of The Pony Restaurant Group. With such a diverse and talented line-up, the Chef's Theatre promises to be a highlight of the festival.

Jude Kereama, the festival's chef patron, expressed his excitement for this year's line-up, stating that it is set to be the best yet. Kereama, a native New Zealander, has represented the South West in four seasons of the Great British Menu. His restaurants, Kota and Kota Kai, are known for their use of local Cornish ingredients and his Māori Chinese-Malay heritage.

The Porthleven Food Festival is a community event that attracts approximately 35,000 food enthusiasts each year. It not only showcases Cornwall's leading food and drink producers but also promotes sustainable food production and environmental awareness.

This year, the festival introduces the Ultimate Gourmet Weekend Tickets, which offer all-weekend access to the Chef's Theatre, premium parking, and a delicious two-course roast lunch prepared by Chef Rupert Cooper of the Philleigh Way Cookery School.
