Thrill-seekers visiting Six Flags Magic Mountain this spring will have the opportunity to embark on a culinary adventure without leaving the park. The Flavors of the World food festival, running on Saturdays and Sundays from March 23 to May 5, will take guests on a journey to seven different countries.

Located at Magic Mountain in Valencia, California, the international food festival aims to recreate the vibrant atmosphere of street markets found in India, Greece, Mexico, Italy, China, Korea, and the Caribbean. This year's festival replaces the French booth with flavors from Mexico, offering visitors a diverse range of culinary delights.

A Gastronomic Journey Across Seven Countries

The menu lineup for the Flavors of the World food festival at Six Flags Magic Mountain includes a variety of dishes from each participating country. In the Caribbean booth, visitors can indulge in Cubano Cigar Spring Rolls, Jamaican Jerk Chicken, Vegetable Empanadas, Sweet Plantains, and Pine Orange Punch. The China booth offers Chicken Pot Stickers, Sticky Pork Bao Bun, Yakisoba Noodles with Chicken, Youtiao (Chinese donuts), and Tiger Lily Boba Soda. Mexico brings Chicken Tostada, Birria Taco, Elote, Tres Leches Cake, and Horchata. Greece offers Beef Gyro on Pita Bread, Baklava, Horiatiki (Greek Salad), Hummus with Pita Chips, and Drink of the Gods. The India booth presents Grilled Tandoori Chicken Kabab, Coconut Curry Chicken with Naan Bites, Punjabi Samosa, Rice Kheer, and Masala Chai. Italy serves Toasted Ravioli, Piccino Caprese Skewers, Minestrone Soup, Spumoni Ice Cream, and Strawberry Lemonade. Lastly, the Korea booth offers Chicken & Pork Dumplings, Gochujang Chicken Wings, Korean Quinoa Stir Fry, and Watermelon Lemonade.

Savor the Flavors with the Sip & Savor Passport

The festival booths, spread throughout the park in areas such as Full Throttle Plaza, Whistlestop Park, Goliath Plaza, and near Lex Luthor: Drop of Doom, will offer nearly three dozen traditional foods and drinks for guests to sample. To make the most of the experience, visitors can purchase a Sip & Savor Passport, which allows them to enjoy 8 or 12 samples from the festival booths. With prices ranging from $50 for 8 samples to $65 for 12 samples, the passports offer a cost-effective way to savor the flavors of the world, with each item averaging around $6.25 or $5.40, respectively.

Following in the Footsteps of Popular Theme Parks

Six Flags Magic Mountain's decision to host a food festival follows in the footsteps of other popular theme parks in Southern California, such as Disneyland and Knott's Berry Farm. Disney California Adventure, for example, organizes back-to-back food festivals during the winter and spring seasons, while Knott's Berry Farm hosts culinary events throughout the year.

A Global Culinary Adventure

With the Flavors of the World food festival, Six Flags Magic Mountain aims to provide visitors with not only thrilling rides but also a diverse culinary experience. So, whether you're craving Caribbean delicacies, Chinese street food, Mexican flavors, Greek specialties, Indian spices, Italian classics, or Korean delights, this food festival promises to satisfy your taste buds and take you on a global gastronomic journey.
