Pickle lovers in the Dayton area are in for a treat! The first-ever Pickle Fest — Just Dill With It! is coming to Austin Landing in Miamisburg this Saturday. From 3 p.m. to 10 p.m., pickle enthusiasts can indulge in a variety of pickle-inspired creations from over 30 vendors.
The festival promises a unique and creative selection of pickle concoctions. Attendees can expect to find pickle funnel cakes, pickle egg rolls, dill pickle boats filled with smoked chicken and cream cheese, tacos with pickled mango relish, dill pickle popcorn, and much more. The vendors have truly outdone themselves with their innovative pickle-themed offerings.
In addition to the food, there will also be pickle-flavored drinks to quench your thirst. With the summer heat, pickleback shakes, pickle soda, pickle slushies, pickled lemonade, and other refreshing options are sure to be a hit. The excitement of trying these unconventional beverages is expected to draw quite a crowd.

The idea for the pickle festival came about when Danniele Simon, who oversees property management, marketing, and events for Austin Landing, was pregnant and craving pickles. The response to the initial Facebook event was overwhelming, with nearly 3,000 people already marked as going and 16,000 expressing interest.

Simon is thrilled to bring something new and exciting to the Dayton area. She believes that the festival will continue to grow and improve in the coming years. The success of Pickle Fest has already paved the way for future foodie festivals, with the Taco & Nacho Fest — Nacho Typical Food Fest scheduled for August 27.
