The Fayetteville Dogwood Festival is back for its 42nd year, promising a weekend of fun, food, and entertainment for the whole family. This free community event has become a beloved tradition in Fayetteville, North Carolina.

The festival kicks off on Friday evening with festivalgoers able to enter the park at 5 p.m. The opening ceremony takes place at 6 p.m. Food vendors and sponsors will be available at Festival Park Plaza from 5 to 9 p.m. The midway, located at the corner of Mason Street and Ray Avenue, will also be open from 5 to 9 p.m. Attendees can enjoy live music from the 82nd Airborne Division All-American Rock Band at Festival Park from 6 to 9 p.m. Radio personality Kelvin 'the Greek' Culbreth will be broadcasting the event live from 3 to 7 p.m.

A Weekend of Festivities

On Saturday, the festival runs from noon to 9 p.m. and encompasses Festival Park, Festival Park Plaza, and downtown Fayetteville. The Downtown Street Fair will feature vendors, food trucks, carnival rides, and a sensory-friendly play area from noon to 9 p.m. The midway will also be open from noon to 9 p.m. Air Born Aerials, known for their acrobatic performances, will showcase their talents in the Festival Park area from 1 to 5 p.m. Additionally, there will be live performances throughout the day at the Performance Area on Hay Street.

Saturday's concert lineup includes Four different musical artists. Two Dimensional will perform from noon to 2 p.m., followed by an R&B DJ from 2 to 4 p.m. A Latin DJ will take the stage from 4 to 7 p.m., and Nicholas Vernon, a singer-songwriter from Zebulon, will close out the evening from 7 to 9 p.m.

Sunday Fun and Excitement

Sunday's festivities run from noon to 9 p.m. and include a Car, Motorcycle, and Truck Show on the 400 Block of Hay Street from noon to 4 p.m. The midway will be open from noon to 6 p.m., and the Downtown Street Fair will feature over 100 vendors, food trucks, and carnival rides. The Performance Area on Hay Street will also host various acts throughout the day.

Sunday's concert will feature a DJ at Festival Park from noon to 6 p.m.

Rules and Regulations

As with any event, there are rules to ensure everyone's safety and enjoyment. These include no soliciting, no weapons, no canopies, no coolers or outside containers, no bicycles, skateboards, or rollerblades, and no pets (except for service animals).
